The Gradmatic Refractory Installation System (RIS) is an automated system designed for safe, fast dry-lining of coreless induction furnaces, eliminating manual tamping. It uses electric vibrators to consolidate material in 15-20 minutes, reducing labor, eliminating “elephant foot” erosion, and increasing lining life.

- Floor Vibrator Plate: Electric plate operated via a control stand from the furnace deck, knitting floor material solidly in 15 to 20 minutes without confined-space entry.
- Sidewall Vibrator Unit: Three-legged unit (four-legged for furnaces over 25 tons) controlled from the deck, starting vibration 2 inches (50 mm) from the tapered section bottom to reduce “elephant’s foot” erosion within roughly 16 minutes.
- Refractory Installation System (RIS): Automatically dispenses dry refractory between the furnace wall and form while deaerating the material.
- Capacity Compatibility: Adaptable for furnaces with diameters of 20 inches or more and capacities ranging from 1 to 85 tons
